Get blown automotive fuse.

Get .015" solder from Radio Shack. This will melt at 750mA through it, with good accuracy.

Wrap some solder around the exposed leads on the fuse, in a figure eight. Count the amps (0.75, 1.5, 2.25, 3 etc) for every figure-eight completed.

With a finger, move the middle of the 8 to the side, as far as it will go.

Put a drop of hot glue on it, to hold it in place.

Mark new amperage value on the fuse.

Done!
